The 45 changed music forever. It gave rise to a new class of creators and freethinking rebels, delivering one well-crafted hit at a time. In Indianapolis, streetcar 45 changed the way people traveled. As the original streetcar that ran from downtown to Broad Ripple, the 45 dropped commuters in front of the famed Vogue Theatre. From music to transportation, the forty five names have served as a connection for decades — binding people in profound ways.

Forty5 Presents is rooted in this same spirit of bringing people together.

The Vogue Theatre

The Vogue, located in the Broad Ripple neighborhood of Indianapolis, is one of the most popular and storied music venues in the Midwest. The Vogue originally opened as a movie theater on June 18, 1938, and today is considered the top destination for live music in Indianapolis, winning countless awards and earning the accolades of local musicians, industry leading DJ’s, and nationally touring artists.

Rock the Ruins

Rock the Ruins is a summer concert series hosted at Holliday Park, an enchanting 95-year old neighborhood park, nestled in a gently wooded and highly affluent neighborhood located just six miles north of downtown Indianapolis. Perfect for experiencing music, catching up with neighbors and friends, and connecting with nature. We encourage our all-ages guest to bring chairs, tables, and blankets and take advantage of a variety of local food, beverage, and artisan vendors.

The Toby

Tobias Theater, which we like to call “The Toby,” was declared “best screening room in Indianapolis” in a poll by Indianapolis Monthly magazine, thanks to its 35mm surround sound and imaginative programming. But it’s much more than movies—530 seats and a balcony means there’s room to relax and enjoy all sorts of performances, including concerts.
