Turntable
Thoughts on Bowling with special guest Equipment, Thats what she said, and The BMV at Turntable in Indianapolis on Sunday, August 16, 2026!

Equipment
With whiplash-inducing guitar hooks and sing-along passages mirroring the volatile subject matter, Equipment shifts the spotlight toward the power-pop facet of the modern emo genre. Vulnerability is fully present, yet often shaded by gallows humor and danceable choruses. The Toledo, Ohio quartet has become known as a veteran of the DIY music scene, striving to challenge the medium, play with listener expectations, and champion radical optimism.

The BMV
“Moving the needle with a more light- hearted approach, Indiana natives, The Bureau of Motor Vehicles enriches the emo genre with jovial expressions and chipper instrumentation. For the kids who grew up cracking jokes in the Scholastic Book Fair check out line, The BMV provides pop punk opportunistic melodies and breakdowns. This is along with lyrics that parallel the slight cynicism you hold on your drive to work or the grocery store.
Loaded with references sure to charm any kid of the 90’s or 2000’s, this five piece collective will lure you in and capture you with their captivating hooks. Sounds that just make you want to jump and place and finger point til your heart gives out, The Bureau of Motor Vehicles is a staple in adding some much needed pump up to your day.” - Margot Whitham

Thats what she said
thats what she said is a Indianapolis based Midwest emo band shaped on beautiful chords and heavy breaks. Influenced by many local bands such as LatorGator and Leisure Hour. They are debuting the band this year. Hoping to make a name for themselves, and make friends along the way. They are stoked to be on this bill!
