Anella is a genre-blurring singer-songwriter from High Point, North Carolina, known for his emotionally charged storytelling and fearless exploration of sound. Influenced early on by everything from gospel to Eminem, Anella honed his craft playing outside bars in his hometown before gaining momentum with viral hits like “Tequila” and “Tennessee Love Song.”

In 2024, he launched his ambitious Season Series—a collection of EPs reflecting different emotional chapters, from longing and heartbreak to growth and reinvention. With praise from artists like 2 Chainz, SadaBaby, and Jelly Roll, and a growing fanbase behind him, Anella continues to redefine the modern singer-songwriter through raw vulnerability, vivid storytelling, and genre-defying creativity.

Born and raised in Indianapolis, IN, the 22 year old has quickly formed himself into what many consider a “Hometown Hero”. A heavy title for such a young talent but it only makes sense, all things considered. With his initial release of “Rest Easy” (an EP he dedicated to his departed family & friends) in early 2021, he showed a level of storytelling & emotional depth that was quickly compared to the likes of Meek Mill & Dave East. With no hesitation he followed up that project with his debut album “Hold On 4 Dear Life” (a 14-track capsule painting a picture of what could only be deemed as a glimpse into his own past). Showcasing lyrical prowess, versatility in production and very Kendrick Lamar/Lupe Fiasco influenced flares.
